2008 Honda Civic Radio Code Unlock in 3 steps

How to get your Civic radio serial number

For 2008 models, you don't need to pull out your radio to see the serial. You can get it from the screen in a few easy steps.

1.  Turn the ignition switch to ON so power can flow to the radio.
2.  Turn ON the radio and ensure you can read CODE
3.  If your radio doesn't read CODE, disconnect your battery for 1 minute and try again.
4.  Turn the radio OFF.
5. Press and keep hold the preset buttons 1 and 6 while with the other hand, power it ON (1 + 6 + PWR BTN)
6. Your 8 digits serial is displayed on the screen. Write it down, that's your serial you need for the unlock process. 

How to get your Civic 2008 anti theft code

To get your unlock code, visit Honda Civic Radio Code Unlock and enter your serial in the unlock box. After submitting it, you will receive your code between 5 minutes and 2 hours. Note: It may take up to 8 hours as all the orders are processed manually.

Radio is showing CODE ERROR?

Some 2008 Honda Civic may show ERROR or ERR on screen if you have entered more than ten times a wrong radio code. If you are not able to enter your code, don't worry, there is an easy way to fix it. All you need to do is to disconnect your battery fuse for one or two minutes and connect it again. After it, turn your radio ON and all should be fixed. You can now enter your code.
